I don't think it's even worth the trouble of calling them saying "hey guys you send me the wrong PSU but it's better than what I ordered..."

Enjoy!
Why would I? I guess because I'm honest and personally feel that would be the right thing to do. I am by no means criticizing or judging the OP for keeping it, I was just saying what I would do.

How did the AX850 end up in a TX850 box in the first place? I spend a lot of money at newegg so this will keep me going. It is one sweet supply. I have it next to my bed.

What the hell?

Iching, congrats on the awesome luck! And I love your iteration of a dual monitor setup.

I know I'd be bummed out if I paid for the good one and got a cheaper one by mistake and then had try to convince them that's what happened.

I agree, I would probably call them and let them know I got something better then I ordered, the unfortunate part is it's highly unlikely the Egg would have employees dig thru boxes making sure the missing TX is found...

More than likely they wouldn't and I think they would probably let you keep it anyway. I would feel bad for the person that paid for the AX and got the TX and then had to convince Newegg of the mistake. But mix ups do happen.

Hmm, it was an open box item. They must have checked it when they got it back.

You would certainly think so. Newegg is big and busy, anything could happen.
