I just need some opinion about this items I'm will buy them in two weeks hopefully. Only going to order cpu/mobo and ram only.

I will be keep using my current psu/keyboard,mouse/hardrive/gpu.

I was thinking getting

cpu - i5-2500k

mother board - P67 GD55

Ram - ?

if I do purchased i5-2500k Cpu is this going to be decent upgrade from my current cpu which is q9550?

Any decent 4GB kit of 1600-2000 memory with good timings and you're set.

CPU and mobo is fine.

Yes, that SB would prove to be a significant upgrade over your Q9550.

cool thanks for replying I might change my mobo to Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD3 iP67 LGA1155 USB 3.0/SATA 6Gb/s ATX motherboard instead little cheaper.
and about the ram so i don't need 6gb triple channel ram? can you link me decent ram from newegg. oh and another thing I'm guessing my ocd vendetta 2 won't work on lga 1155 socket?

No, you don't need triple channel memory for that socket.

I would suggest a 2x2GB kit running at 1600MHz with 7-8-7-24 timings or similar/lower.

1155 doesn't support triple channel, so no.

I'm nearly certain that the 1155 socket mounts are exactly the same at 1156. So if you have a bracket for 1156 on that Vendetta then it will work fine.

That memory is kind of slow.
Something like http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231303 is much better.

Out of those two coolers, get the 212+, hands down. It's one of the best cheap coolers.

Yeah, I agree that the memory is slow. That kit there looks good - those are the kind of timings I was talking about.

Any 1600MHz CL7 would do just fine..

But I would check QVL of the board for supported RAM kits to avoid compatibility issues..

CM Hyper 212+ is a GREAT cheap cooler..

CHEERS...
