did you plug in everything? 8/4-pin cpu and 24pin connectors

Also, did you add in all the stand offs needed/tooken out unneeded?

have you verified you're getting power from your psu? does the green led at the bottom of the board even come on? if so, then you have display issues. Are you trying to pull video from a vga card or onboard?

yes it does.onboard, i didnt buy a vga yet becuase i want to save... , i tried vga and dvi. i think it might be my mobo or processor. but then why dont i get usb power?
that is definitely weird.. thing is, my lights on my kb dont come on till im just about in windows. during bios i wont get any lights on my kb either. I'd suggest power fully off, unplug power from psu, pull jumper, put jumper in cmos reset position, wait 10 secs, put jumper back in normal position, place line back to psu, try power on again. make sure the switches on the board are both set to off, that way you're not trying to do unlocker or turbo. you dont wanna see the red LEDs.

Where did you get your mobo from? Try removing the CMOS battery for 1-2 minutes and putting it back in. This will reset the board to factory settings.
