I'm thinking I might go ATI with my next video card. Either that or get the 470GTX. But what do you guys think would be the best choice out of all of these cards here?

DIAMOND Radeon HD 5850

SAPPHIRE Toxic Radeon HD 5850

DIAMOND Radeon HD 5870

SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 5870

Else you should go for the toxic 5850. Compared to the other cards you listed, the toxic 5850 looks like the best deal to me. You'll be able to OC it to "near 5870 performance" and save some cash.

whatever one has the best warranty... Unless you can save a couple more dollars and go 69xx route. One thing to look for is if your overclocking you want a reference card so you have unlocked voltage... Otherwise your clocks will be severely limited.

Well my price range is $300. So I've mainly been looking at ones that range from $250 - $300.

Imma go w/ the diamond 5870 because its reference design just in case you want to go water. GTX470 would be my "green" choice

edit: for this money, go w/ the newer 6950/70
post #10 of 34
You can Crossfire 6850's for around $300....Much better option, imo.
