Radiator support please :)

Thread Starter
Hey, I have an i7 six core, but this post isn't so much about it.
I just don't know how to make a new post somewhere else

I want to get a brand new case. It's really cool. It has water-cooling support and a bunch of other cool marketing stuff.

On the back there are two rubber fittings that are for water-cooling tubes to go through and reach the radiator for extra air ventilation. I want to water-cool as well.

There are two very large 140mm fans that blow outwards (exhaust), and this is the place I would like to put my radiator on and the case information actually says that you may put a radiator up there.

What I would like to know is, if I put the radiator up there, would that help the radiator cool the coolant and help it perform, or, would it make the radiator worse and not cool properly

Thank you in advance, Mostplanet 3

you still put fans on the rad its just so you can mount a rad at the top you would take the top fans out im guessing on your case.

It would help.

But i'd suggest you turn your airflow around to get fresh air in the radiator.

so the top of your case is in, and the front / bottom is out.

so do you mean like spin the fans around so it makes a vacum.

if so, wouldnt blowing out still cool it down,

the case is an Antec Dark Fleet 85

What the guy meant was that by reversing the case's original airflow when you mount the rad and fans and making it intake, the rad would be getting fresh air from outside the case instead of air that has traveled through the inside of your case. Imho it doesn't really matter whether it's intake or exhaust, but I may be wrong.

Btw, COPPER TUBING?

rather one of these few, preferably the ones with 3x 120mm fans but any will do

Koolance HX-CU720V Radiator, 2x120mm, Copper (High Flow) [no nozzles]

Alphacool NexXxos Xtreme Pro II Rev.2 Radiator 2x120mm

Alphacool NexXxos Pro III Rev.2 Radiator, dont know how many fans (I think 3)

Koolance Copper High Flow Radiator, 3x 120mm (No Nozzles)

a reply asap would be great
