5770 in crossfire and eyefinity help ??? :/

Hey,
My birthday is coming up soon on the febuary the 5th and wanted to ask my parents to get some monitors and everything for eyefinity.
Iv got a Hannsspree hf237 and it is a very good monitor, good colours and good response and layout and look i love this monitor

I was thinking of getting another 5770 for crossfire and 2 more hf237's to add to my SIG RIG.

but this would be my first eyefinity and crossfire build, and i have a few questions.

1. how bad does the proformance change in games and other thing with 3 monitors rather than 1 ?

2. what would i need for eyefinity (adapters.......and so on) or can i have a link on this forum to building and setting up eyefinity ?

3. can i still work eyefinity with crossfire of 2 5770's?

4. how much of a proformance gain is crossfire to just 1 5770 ?

and anything els you would like to add for information to help me

Thank you in advanced,

Gaming96.

I can answer your second question, the thing you'd need is another gfx(obviously ) , a crossfire brigde/connector it should come with the gfx card, and a 6 pin (another/2) connector on the psu..hmm, im not an expert but.
There is a lot of benchmarks around the crossfire/single,etc (just google something)if you just look you'd be able to see that you can only see a difference in intense gaming/3d also some games aren't optimized for Sli/crossfire so they will actually run slower that with one card.
hmmm...
I'm 70-80% sure you can run eyefinity with crossfire, BUT only on one card so no 6 screen, unless you have the 6 screen card(forgot what it's called ).
I'm not sure about the performance with eyefinity but it wouldn't cut it in half(even with one card) I don't think.

That's all I know, pardon if i'm not right. (I'm quite new to pc's(building, etc ))

Hi,
In order to run Eyefinity you will need at least one native Displayport monitor or an active DP-DVI adapter.
Yes, Eyefinity works with Crossfire.
The performance of 2 5770's is similar to the 5870.
By active, I mean something like this:
