Help! Unstable i7 950 @ 4GHz - Page 3

So I just did 20 runs of IntelBurnTest, and it went smoothly, running around 73-75C.

Gonna run it for 100 runs tonight. Do you think I can confirm it stable after that?
Pretty chill.

I can't see the picture but are the Gflops pretty close?

Everyone will tell you something different, but after a few of these tests like Prime and IBT, the real test is it stable for you. Who knows it might fail after a 72 hour prime test and someone will scream UNSTABLE! but after another 20-50 runs you should use your PC for what you usually use it for. Run some games with super high settings, encode a DVD. If it does what you want it to and doesn't have any of the symptoms of instability, stamp that baby stable.

Don't bother with 100 runs. Move on to 12+ hours of Prime95 Blend.

Hi! I have similar hardware to yours and I was wondering whether you have stabilised your system. I noticed that your cpu-z says 1.304 vcore which coresponds to 1.318 or something in the BIOS. I have been getting BSOD's 0x3B and 0x1E after 4 hours (approx) of P95 blend tests with vcore set to 1.318 in BIOS (1.304 in cpu-z). At the moment I am trying 1.325 vcore in BIOS (with my cpu-z showing 1.312) to see what happens. It just passed 4hours now...lets see.

what vcore did you finally use to stabilise yours?

thanks
