Graphic Design, Photo editing, Web design.

So the quality has to been outstanding also its horrible to work on a monitor smaller than 27 inch!

What display do you think is better?

NO panel REALLY reaches 2ms. TN panels have 2ms while switching from a shade of gray to another. That doesn't matter. What matters is something larger, like a color to another or black to white or reverse. TN panels might have like 10-20ms response times depending on the quality. On mine, it's like 20ms, since I have some noticiable ghosting.

IPS panels have like 16-23 or something...

Response time has nothing to do in how responsive the screen is. It tells you how much ghosting you'll get, but the numbers are usually lies. 60hz panels refresh the screen every 16ms, so that doesn't affect responsiveness at all. 120hz panels refresh every 8ms, NOW it might affect a little, but not much...

If you want quality, go with an IPS panel.

If you want cheap, go with a TN panel

If you want gaming, go with a CRT capable of AT LEAST 1280x1024 @ 85hz... The higher the resolution and refresh rate, the better. However, if this is not your preference, 120hz displays might also do well. Although those are expensive. Hmm...

Frankly no LCD should be inherently BAD for gaming. Just let these guys recommend stuff to you, but don't buy into marketing.

The following numbers are ALWAYS LIES.

Response time
Contrast

IPS has the best colors but the most ghosting
TN panels have crap colors and are cheap, not as much ghosting as IPS

And CRT's are good but take up space and unless you know about them, you will choose a crap one.

I can't recommend you a specific monitor since I know nothing about the selection in finland, or the prices....

What resolution are you aiming at? What about the refresh rate? What kinds of games do you play?

That is a 120hz monitor.

It will make your games feel much smoother than just 60hz monitors...

It has a resolution of 1680x1050 which is decent. It's better than 1920x1080 at 60hz... This is a cheap one, so it's good.

I'm assuming that you are playing more fast paced games than slow paced ones... Probably FPS in the future as well?

Anyhow... This will make your games be much smoother if you set it at 120hz in the control panel..

Please, if you are considering a 120hz monitor, make sure that it's 120hz. Most of the time it isn't. Most 120hz monitors are 60hz monitors advertized as 120hz... This one is REAL 120hz.

It requires a dual link DVI as far as I know (it's a basic DVI cable, no worries. But check from wikipedia to see if you need a new cable. Not all DVI cables are dual link. But no worries, dual link cables are cheap)

If you want better colors instead of smoother gameplay, let me know, I can search something for you...

EDIT: You can't vote on this

Most people just suggest something random instead of tending to YOUR needs, so the votes are a bad way of deciding...

Do you go into the action and don't look around, or do you admire the scenery in game?

Well if you are into graphical design, a different monitor should be better.

I don't have the time to suggest one to you though, I need to get this one project done.

But that display is meh for graphical design.... Should work, but there are better options out there...

These are IPS panels, so the image quality is absolutely the best.

Of course the 1920x1200 is better, but if that doesn't fit into your budjet, the 1080p one is not too much worse.

This is not your average benq or asus monitor. These are VERY HIGH quality monitors. You won't be unhappy with them...

They are good for graphical design...
That was pretty much everything he said. It helped. People express themselves in different ways . His way to me is insult them if they don't get it (no offense De-Zant) from my point of view.

Pros
-In Plane Switching (IPS) Technology
-2560x1600 resolution @ 60Hz
-Massive 30-inch Display
-Modular Look
Cons
-Price

You could have gotten this or this for a multi display setup. I'll probably get the 2nd one because it matches a DasKeyboard and it would be small enough to fit on a table for Eyefinity.
