you don't have to have an nvidia chipset to run an nvidia graphics card. if you're not planning on running sli i see no problems with that motherboard running a single gtx 460 or gtx 560 (once it's out).

if you did want to try to sli on that board, you could run the sli hack. it's stickied here on the nvidia forums. i did that with an asus x48 motherboard and have 2 gts 250's running in sli on that.

if you do get a gtx 460 or 560, i don't see any reason you wouldn't be able to use the 8800 for physx with that motherboard.

basically, unless i'm just totally missing something, i don't see any reason why you should get a new motherboard if you're just planning on going from a single gtx 285 to a single gtx 460 or gtx 560, and i'd personally wait for the 560 since it's supposed to be out within the month.

What you are told about a second card dedicated for Physx is right. I'm a fan of SLI setups and plan on purchasing that same motherboard in a couple months, so let me know if you get it whether its any good or not. The GTX 560 specs just under a GTX 480, so its a decent vid card and that would be the one I'd get.
