I recently bought a notebook its a Sony vio vpcf115fm best-buy said it was good for gaming well it isnt. i7 1.6 turbo to 2.8 6gig ram and 1gig video mem. Cant play no games they all lag bad. cod black-ops fallout new vega sniper ghost warrior they all run slow cant play any of them. Is there any way to over-clock the video card or processor. I dont want to burn it up cause no warranty. Is this video card any good at all. I dont know much about nvidia im use to ati. My old one was Ati raedon hd4870 512ram and it blows this one away processor was duocore 2.4 and 6gig of ram

Ok you could use Evga precision to overclock your graphic card.

Also go in the bios and OC your CPU a bit, you could also try to disable Turbo, because when you turbo to 2.8 your 4 threads become 2. In GTA 4 for example you'd rather play at 1.6 with 4 threads than at 2.8 with 2 threads.

I got a 335m in my Alienware, can play most of the game including blackops. Goodluck

Download CPU-Z & GPU-Z and take a screenshot of both of them showing info.
You can most likely overclock the GPU with MSI Afterburner but this will only kill your battery life faster.

I downloaded afterburner and turned the core clock and shader clock and memory all way up and there is no difference should i change the core voltage any the games still lag. Im goin to try to disable the turbo and see if there is a difference

Turbo on or off probably won't have that much of an effect. Plus, I'd leave it on, as hardly any games will max out a lower-clocked quad vs. a higher clocked dual (poor analogy, I know).

I have the G310M, and it barely plays TF2 on medium-low at 1366x768. The 330M--while faster--isn't THAT much faster, so I wouldn't think that BO plays all that well. IIRC, performance-wise, the 330M is below a mobility HD4650, which doesn't do much for games.

the G3xxM series are excellent substitutes for normal integrated graphics, and they should play most games on low-med settings, but they aren't high performers by any means.

What drivers are you using?
