So top of line for that gpu is 6970 okay ill go there; the 950 and 920 are only $20 apart so am better to stick with 950

You could also get a 6950 and unlock it to a 6970. Both my 6950s unlocked and are clocked way past 6950/6970 stock clocks. Cheap cheap.

Btw, you might be better off buying a known good overclocking 920 used vs a new 950, really.

okay, so oc for the 6950 is easy for newbie; good call on 920 more available info and help is better

also this board supports 24gb of memory; i`d like to start at maybe 12gb and buld as i go, what is good memory for this build

also just for the look of the build if i stick with MSI all i see on ncix to buy is -

MSI Radeon HD 6870 900MHZ 1GB 4.2GHZ GDDR5 2XDVI 2XMINI DisplayPort HDMI PCI-E DirectX 11 Video Card

is this any good
