Need New Dac/Amp, Give Suggestions

Thread Starter
Ok so I ordered myself some Denon D7000s yesterday, and I'm looking for a DAC/Amp combo around $100 that I can use with my iPad or a Macbook Pro.

I'm currently looking at the Fiio E7 and Nuforce Icon, currently leaning towards the E7. If you have any other suggestions, they would be appreciated.

Unless you get something like a nuforce dac2 that is around 100 dollars, there isn't much that can help you out. However you can't possibly really looking for dacamp with a 100 dollar budget when your headphone is 1000 bucks retail?

I've read around and they really don't need much driving power.

I'm not looking for a 1% increase with $500 Amp/Dac category jumps.
More expensive amps tend to color the sound anyways, I'd rather use an equalizer.

I just bought a pair of 595's and am interested in the same question, from all the reviews and the folks at Head-Fi, I've really been leaning towards a E7/E9 combo myself.
