final help before ordering a water cooling :) - Page 3

reason being different prices on the fittings is the overall appearance... the silver shining is more shiny than the regular silver one... and the black is well black... btw they are not silver as in metal... but these are http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/bitrsi3cofif.html... they probably have them over at jab-tech also

tube length... can't really say without planning where everything is going to go... rule of thumb is get more than you think you need...

can't comment on the tube... but most ppl i see talk about primochill but tygon being the most popular(but doesn't have pretty colors)... i'm sure you can find a review on watercooling tubes...

distilled water? what's your location? you can find it in most drug stores, or your local super market is most likely to have some also... can't say anything about PT-Nuke except there are two types make sure to get the correct one... and do a little research because i do remember ppl having problems with putting too much of it...

silvercoils can be put pretty much anywhere in the loop being a tube run or in the reservoir... you could just use either the ptnuke or silverkill coils... but nothings wrong with using both

ok

I found a place to buy distilled water...

what about PT-Nuke and silver coil where do I buy them ?

by the way what the PT-Nuke and silver coil purpose in the system ?

would using both of them is better then using one ?
and what better to use between the too if I only get one ?

by the way if anyone know is this: tubing ok ? or should I get Tygon Tube will their be a big difference ?
http://www.jab-tech.com/Feser-Tube-A...n-pr-4287.html

also what the difference between Tygon Tube to normal tubes I heard they are something special and not normal tubes...

edit:

the purpose of putting silverkill coils is to fight against algae... same reason ppl use pt-nuke... there's nothing wrong with putting the two together...

if jab-tech doesn't have it... im sure sidewindercomputers.com, performance-pcs, or frozen-cpu does
though jab-tech does have this...
http://www.jab-tech.com/Antimicrobia...p-pr-4530.html
same thing i guess... you can actually use any type of .999% silver regardless of it's size shape or form... didn't see PT-Nuke at jab-tech though...

i'm sure frozen-cpu has the PT-Nuke...
guessing... it doesn't really matter... silver killcoils for convenience and ease of use... PT-Nuke probably immediately neutralizes algae growth... from what i've read silver killcoils will take some time to set in due to the silver atoms will slowly bond with the water (please someone correct me if i'm wrong and not make me look like a fool at the same time)... i'm sure a quick google search will pop up some info...

tubing wise... here's a review of several tubes

*sorry if posting outside links is not allowed...

do more research every good computer enthusiast forum has stickies in there water cooling section with priceless(free) information
