GTX 560 Numbers/PCB Leaked - Page 8

ummm actually, according to benchmarks, the GTX 560 looks to be slower than a 470 but increases its lead over the 6850 and possibly 6870.

Stock, it's slower than an overclocked GTX 460, doesn't seem like a huge upgrade, at least anything worth switching from a GTX 460 especially SLI 460's.

I don't think he does. Judging by the name of his system I'd say he's getting it when it comes out, and he already has it updated in advance.

Op has a hookup who gets him chips early. There's a few of us who have them.

That's where the GTX 560 really belongs, otherwise I'm not going to buy a high-end nVidia card anymore.

I doubt it. You dont have to look far to figure that out for yourself.

Its right under your nose. There are no 6870's in this thread. Do you know why? I dont?

Good looking card, I'm sure it'll be good for the money. Though with the benchmark Bugaspagetti it'll be cheaper to just pick up a 470 instead of the 560, unless you're looking to SLI and if the 560 scales better (or just want a little less noise/heat).

I have got a P19K something in Vantage not really maxed out with a 460/ i7 930.

2 got me over P30K stock and clocked up a bit a P33K (29K gpu score)

Total cost $360

Nothing special either , this was the 24/7 settings all on air cooling , default TIM.

460s are going to be monster performance for money if you wanna grab a pair for under 300 now..

Im seeing benchmarks that put a high clocking pair of 460s up against the 580 at stock in some scenarios.... beating the 480 every time...

Like that deal last night on the 460 cyclones open box... think about it

2x GTX 460 1GB Cyclones = $310-320 (based on last night open box and current used prices/sales)
2x GTX 560s = ~$470-550 (based on current speculation
GTX 580 = $500-530

If you just running 1680x1050/1920x1080... 460s are pretty enticing right now... Its pretty awesome that there isnt a generation gap in technology in terms of dx support and nvidia surround...

I think im going to run a pair of 460s for a few months and see where the 500 series prices are then.
