Phenom ii X6 1100t help

I need your help getting this chip to 4ghz. I'm an intel guy and I have no idea what some of the terms on the bios are so bear with me.

The mobo is a: m4a88td-m evo
I got 4gb ocz ddr3 ram rated at 6-8-6-24 1600mhz 1.6-1.7v

So, where shall I start. Normally when I'm overclocking an intel chip I just bump the fsb until it blue screens. Is this the same with amd chips?

Btw is it possible to increase the multiplier on this chip to get 4ghz and have the ram running at 1600mhz (or higher)?

leave fsb at 200 and just bump the multiplier up to 20x for 4ghz... vcore at 1.4-1.45v yuo'll have to do some testing... what kind of cooling? you wont get too far on stock not sure if ur 1100t is under water like yuor q9550 in sig rig.. if it is you can might be able to do 4ghz with 1.4v or less

phenoms also get a nice performance boost from oc'ing NB, try 14x (2800mhz) on the NB freq and 1.35v on cpu-nb voltage

Ok. Here the breakdown on that you need to know for ocing any athlon II and phenom II cpu on air.
1) Max cpu voltage is 1.55v.
2) Keep temp under 55c.
3) NB frequency take it as high as you can take it and stable.
4) CPU/NB voltage max 1.45v. This the voltage for NB Frequency.
5) Keep HT around 2000.

It is the bus between the south bridge chip and the cpu. The weird thing about it is if you raise the speed you will lose performances. So keep it around 2000.

you can just set it to 1600mhz in bios manually
