Why wait...SB isnt going to give me any better performance than this 1366 build...At least that I am going to notice...Who cares about Benchmarks...I am going to be gaming on it...not being a benchnerd..

Sandy Bridge is NOT better than the 1366 i7. It is a revamp of older technology, for people who cannot afford an i7 build.

Stop giving the OP crap.

Now the 2011 chipset... that's a different story.

By that logic, and that logic alone, you could have gone with AMD for less money, or used 775 stuff for less money. If you don't care about benchmarks and are only going to be gaming, there is no reason to buy x58 gear.

As for finances, unless you have money to blow or absolutely needed something ASAP, no reason not to wait and see prices fall.
