You know, you don't have to mean about it. He don't want to burn holes in his pocket for a good decent computer. Not everyone here in the forms can be like spend massive amount of money for high tech equips.
Seems like people mis-understood my point. I was poking fun at those who keep saying, "wait for <insert latest greatest here> to come out," or "wait to buy until prices come down." For a given component, prices are always going to come down. If all you do is wait, you'll never actually have a system. Now is a GREAT time to buy an X58 system. If the OP waited another week, prices would likely be less on the same components. Another week after that and still cheaper. But you have to pull the trigger at some point. Is Sandy Bridge "better"? That's obviously debatable and depends on what you are into, but this certainly isn't a case of: buy a system now for $1000 vs wait a month and buy a system for $1000 that will be much faster. If it were, that'd be a different story.

Wow, not to get off topic but I didn't expect for this thread to still be going strong after 24hours. And OP, like I said before, you build is a monster, there is nothing wrong with it. You will be able to play games at "Ultra" settings and rip through encodes.

Congrats Man, Enjoy it!

EDIT - And guys, c'mon, point out one thing his build will not be able to do that a SB would.
