Hi guys,

So i was already to continue playing some GT5 (haven't touched it in 2 weeks :'() and so i turn everything on and no signal from the HDMI i tried reseting the video settings by holding the power button doing the whole 3 beep thing tried using different HDMI cables and slots in the TV and a different tv and the other compnet and composite cables that come with the ps3

No DICE! the PS3 starts up fine and accepts disc just no picture or sound im thinking that it must be the GPU theres no yellow light at all

ideas?

Did you try holding the power button down until you hear 3 beeps? That usually resets video output.

Changing from the regular y/w/r plugins to HDMI will cause that to happen. You need to do the above suggestion. While it is on, hold the power button until you hear three beeps, but do this while you have the HDMI in.

The way you word it is completely misleading. What it sounds like is, you tried different cables hoping it would reset. The only actual way is by holding the power button.
