Oc with a GTX 460 768MB & AMD Athlon II X2 250 Regor 3.0GHz 2 x 1MB L2 Cache

I got some great help with my mobo yesterday, and was hoping I'd find the same helpfulness over here. This is for the rig labeled "her rig", not my own.

I'm trying to learn how the overclocking works on my rigs. Seems easier on this one than mine, as it's a bit newer and this Toverclocker has allowed me to run the processor at 3.4 without the heat ever going above 51 during a full night running prime 95. Once I try to go higher though, I get freezing, and I assume this is because I don't know what I need to do with the other voltage settings and such.

I'm hoping to get this running at 3.8 - 4.0 as it looks like the included fans with my unit can handle it. Could someone possibly assist me with what I need to do in Toverclocker in order for this to work? Am I better off doing it through the Bios itself?

Ok. Here the breakdown on that you need to know for ocing any athlon II and phenom II cpu on air.
1) Max cpu voltage is 1.55v.
2) Keep temp under 55c.
3) NB frequency take it as high as you can take it and stable.
4) CPU/NB voltage max 1.45v. This the voltage for NB Frequency.
5) Keep HT around 2000.
6) Keep memory close or under to stock speed.

Interesting, what's the reason these CPUs have to be kept so much cooler than their Intel brethren? Everyone's telling me keep those under 70 - 75.
