It's a fairly inexpensive board. Plus it really doesn't make a difference unless you have a really, really cheap (and low power) power supply or intend to overclock using something beyond water for cooling.

I've been overclocked 700MHz on a 4 phase setup for 1.5 years and I've seen no issues.

Only if you are going to be doing 4.0GHz+ does it really matter. My opinion.

There is a bit too much doom and gloom predictions around here lately. If I would have listened to some of this advice my CPU would still be running at stock. Honestly, you simply have to know a board's limitations and accept them. If you put in a small reasonable OC the unit will run with zero issues. I am running a 12% OC on an unlocked CPU (dual to quad) with no issues. However, according to some around here I should be smelling smoke right now. It simply isn't true. But you do have to know the limitations of your board.

Agreed wholeheartedly!

It wasn't that long ago that 4-phase power management was the new thing on AMD boards and they got along just fine without it. See the DFI, ASUS, and Abit nf4 boards. Could the DFI nf4 Expert clock better than the Sli-DR? Depends on the person, but generally no - it would just clock some memory better, and even that was chip dependent and not a guaranteed thing.
