I prefer ati, but isnt the 4890 just as good as the 460?

Also prefer cards under around the 200$ range definitely not more than 250$, and I was actually considering the ATI 6XXX series, would it be a good jump in performance.

Hmm 250 budget? You won't find a better card at that price in retail areas. Ebay is the only way. Here is a good 5850 for example.

Go any further in terms of model numbers and you will hit past your budget.

EDIT: If you are on a single monitor use the above card, for you won't find much of a difference with the 6*** series. If you are a multi monitor guy, invest in the 6*** series, for the 2GB of VRAM will help with multi monitor solutions I hear...

ive been told if I upgrade I might see some bottlenecking from my cpu, and dont think I can upgrade it

edit: list some good cards regardless of price wanna see my options
