I was about to make a thread about this exact issue, but would rather not if it can be resolved here.

Hopefully someone will give their opinion on the matter, but I'm in the same boat you are OP

Some people love blues, some blacks. It's hard to say which one you will.

I believe I will be able to get a 6gV2 for about $20 less than the Blackwidow. If I put style aside, would you believe that deal to be decent? I am slightly concerned about the awkward key placement mentioned elsewhere, how much of an issue has it been in typing?

I have a 6gv2 and I can tell you that it is an awesome keyboard. Best buy carries both of the keyboards that you mentioned. The razer keyboard doesn't feel quite as good. I'd just buy both and try them out. Best buy Canada has a 30 day return policy so you can return whichever one you like less

Stock is the other issue of the 6gv2, almost no one has it in stock.
