BSOD 0x1d tcpip.sys ???

Thread Starter
I'm getting blue screens tcpip.sys 0x00000D1. What could cause this? All my drivers are up to date and I just checked windows update.

BSOD on reboot. It happens randomly, under load or idle.

Turion x2 TL-68
3GB DDR2
Atheros AR5007 wifi chipset, NVIDIA nForce 520 chipset

I found a hotfix for the symptom on microsoft.com but it didn't help.

Any suggestions? I don't want to reformat

Sorry to hear your rig is acting up.

Is it TCPIP.SYS every time?

Try installing BlueScreenView from Nirsoft then export the reports and share them here (preferably share them via a link to keep the forum nice and neat).

This will help us to help you better.

In the mean time right click the network adapters, select properties, and un-check anything that is not required (try keeping just TCP/IP enabled). If it still BSODs, re-enable what you disabled. I have seen TrendMicro's WorryFree Client Firewall cause this error before, so other firewalls may as well.
