Insane frustration (BSOD) Help!

Thread Starter
Alright so I'm trying to install a fresh copy of Windows 7 on my pc and I keep either getting a bluescreen or it tells me such a file is missing. It's getting rediculous. It took me long enough to put together my pc and get it working and actually able to turn on. You guys have been doing a great job helping me along the way, so I'm asking for help, hopefully for the last time for a while. Please help me. I need to get this rig running.

thats telling you that the ram is NOT happy....

set the ram according to specs....

Hop into the BIOS and set the Voltage to spec and the rated speed F10 save and reboot and try again

alot of time the default voltage is too low...if it does it again try it with one stick...

the only error I'm getting now is from windows boot manager and it sais "Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause." and it goes on from there. My processor is newly installed and I haven't been able to install windows since I put it in.

You might try raising the CPU-NB voltage a tad. Can help to stabilize things. What speed are you running the ram at?
