should I go with zotac for two GTX580s or not? - Page 3

post #21 of 31
Use the cash you would have spent on a second 580 and get monitors that do more than 1440x900..
2x 580's would be a waste on a single display at 1080p, as well.

Wow sorry missed that completely for some reason when I was reading. I retract my money saving suggestions of going TRISLI lol.

yeah quizá too much money spent on a second card that I probably won't take advantage of at 1080.. better to buy a good monitor with that cash

EVGA = WIN

Fanboy= Me

I know 'someone' that sent in a gtx260 for RMA and got a gtx295 in return....when the 295 was at it's peak.... I 'heard' they jumped for joy and slammed their head against a wall when they got it....

I won't reveal their name....... rumor is speculative, though................

NO hogwash....

I would sure as hell go with Zotac.

Have you guys seen their warranty?
They cover dead cards from flashed bios, hard-mods, conformal spray, overclocking death. Pretty much anything as long as you dont mess with the serial code sticker.

Aftermarket heatsinks aren't exactly the same thing as hard-mods with solder, flashed bios, or conformal spray.

I dont wanna sounds like a fanboy also , but i returned a dead x58 Motherboard to Evga that was out of warranty by like 3 month and asked them if they could do something , its a bios update that destroyed my board, and guess what : they sended me a refurbished one .... do you know alot of company that do such thing ??? i dont. Thats why im buying all i can from them , top notch service , only downside for me is that when i got a problem , i have to ship in California , and it cost me alot of shipping since im in Canada , on the east coast. Otherwise , im happy and ill stay with EVGA as long as they keep working like this.
