If you fire the M24 and the M95 horizontally from the same height next to each other, both rounds will hit the ground at the same time but the M95 round will have travelled farther.

But the M24 round would have dropped at a faster rate while the M95s round drop would have been more gradual. But because the the M24 round was travelling much slower it would have hit the ground at the same time as the much faster travelling M95 round.

i use the GOL.
it has the best accuracy iirc and if u are great at getting headshots (like me ) then u don't need the slight bit of power it loses to the M95.
just put magnum ammo on as 1 of ur kits so then it is guaranteed kill from any distance if u headshot.

i used the M95 a bit, but dont like it because i got so good with the GOL, the distance and dip etc were different on the M95 and the reload time is longer so i just continued using the GOL!

i don't bother too much with the quick-fire snipers, just use an assault rifle with 4x scope because the quick-fire snipers can't handle a long distance kill anyway :/!

That shouldn't of happened even in RL.
All objects have the same vertical force, which is gravity acting downwards.
The horizontal force would be different in these two cases of the M24 and M95 becuase of the Ek (Kinetic Energy)/Velocity of the bullet, the horizontal distance from point of origin would be greater with the M95 due to it's higher Ek/Velocity. If air resistance is negated, all objects fall at the same speed and hit the ground at the same time.

Usually I use the M24 because it scopes in faster, but when I use ACOG I use the M95 because it has that really nice one shot kill range so I can play more aggressively.

I've platted all the sniper rifles in BC2 save for the M95. I'm not a nub who uses the 12x/4x zoom scopes either. I always go with extra ammo and magnum ammo, and I'm more often than not at the forefront. M24 all the way. The GOL is for sissies.

As for VietNam, meh, sometimes I use the M40, but ususally I just run around with a sub machine gun. Recon in Viet Nam is sick. Nothing like jumping out of a heli to drop C4 on tanks from above. Parachute kills ftw.

Why is the GOL for sissies? I'm new to BFBC2 and have mostly played Vietnam but getting into the normal 'modern' mode and am overwhelmed by all the weapons and in this case snipers.
