The voltage for sandy bridge?

Thread Starter
Has there been a offical statement about the ram voltage for sandy bridge?
I have done some researches and found that SB will support up to 1333Mhz (no OC), and up to 1.5v. But reading comments in this forum makes me wonder..

Let see.

I have ordered 8Gb 1333Mhz 1.5v a couple of days ago already, lol..

Ive read reports and reviews of some of the Motherboards, they Support up to 2133mhz Natively. Not so sure about the voltage...
If its only 1333mhz, then ive wasted cash on 1600mhz ram D:

There will certainly be memory multipliers.

Even if you did have to run at 1333, you could always tighten the timings.

I guess 1333mhz wouldent make to much of a performance loss right?
Im buying the K edition i5 or i7 with the intention of one day doing my first overclock.

Then it would make use of my 1600mhz ram right?

No QQ here.
1600mhz fits my budget nicely.
And i heard that SB could run well over 2000 easily assuming you have the right ram before anyway.
