Prime95 Fatal Error help! - Page 2

In my experience, if it doesn't BSOD, and like your's it says one worker stopped working it has been either ram voltage or CPU/NB voltage to fix. Usually Vcore shortage will cause a BSOD. You might try a bump (or 2) on the ram voltage. If that doesn't do it within a few bumps, return it to where it was and try the same thing with cpu/nb voltage. I've had good luck by doing it that way, but like maximous says, better to do things separately first so you know what to look at when trouble comes up like you have know. I've just spent the last seven hours starting over with a new cpu (1090T) to replace my 555 x2 BE hoping to get it to run at the specs listed on my rig for the 555. Maybe that'll give you an idea of much time it can take! Good Luck!!!

Thanks for the insight, if this final test doesn't fix it I'll surely put that into perspective. I figured my ram might need a little more juice, I actually tried raising the voltage on my NB separately but as soon as I started A test in prime it crashes. So I'll defiantly adjust the ram voltage and see where it gets me.

also what is your Ram voltage set to, I believe the Hyperx runs best around 1.7V but someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

1.61, I've also tightened the timing from 9-9-9-27 down to 8-8-8-24.

According to this, http://wccftech.com/2010/12/04/kings...it-ram-review/ , you should up your voltage to 1.65 at least. And I would use the manufactures specs for timings until you get your CPU clock dialed in.

I'll give it a shot, thanks for all the help!

Alright just a follow up on the Small FFT test. After running it for 2hrs it found no error so I'm sure the errors in the RAM voltage. I'll adjust the voltage and run a retest soon.

After adjusting the Memory Over Voltage up to 1.64 (orig. 1.61), I ran the blend test in Prime and it passed with 0 errors in 15mins. I'll post the results of a full stress test soon and see if everything checks out then.

It was indeed my RAM voltage, after bumping it up to 1.64 I ran Prime for 2hr45min and it passed with 0 errors. Thank you guys for all of the help!

Congrats on the overclock! Are you going to be pushing it further or is this your final stable?

Thanks, this is going to be my final stable OC because I wanted to push it as far as I could without increasing vcore. Also I'm running on stock cooling fan so I think I'll settle.
