Alot of people do like the AD700 for gaming, I did as well then I got sick of them having almost no bass and theyre Trible being higher Other then their pads making my ears hot.
The HD 595 is still on sell on amazon I think for 115. They dont need a amp to be driven.
@ rest of the thread, I mention a couple pages back that the only thing thats the same on this cards that the other X-FI line has is the X-FI chip. Rest of the components on the card is audiophile grade components. Including the LME49710NA op-amp that it uses Which is a very good op-amp of course it can be swap out with a totally differnet op-amp. Its compareable to Xonar ST/X's HT omega halo XT.
It simply not just a X-FI Ti with HD on the end its more then that.The only thing that it missing to make it even more worth while is a headphone amp circuit for higher end headphones.Edited by admflameberg - 1/1/11 at 2:21am
