Crosshair IV Formula 1090T Questions

post #1 of 6

ok so what i have stable right now is pretty much stock.

Multi at 13
bus at 250
ram at 2000Mhz
Nb at 3000Mhz
cpu = 3.26Ghz
HT = auto

CPU V = Auto
Cpu/NB V = 1.3
Dram V = 1.7

i have disabled turbo core,cool and quit,es1 or whatever it is

i cant seem to get over 3000Mhz on Nb, i go up to even 1.35 and it wont even boot at 3250mhz. do only some crosshair IV go higher?

Also ive seen people run the exact setup on here and use

cpu multi = 13
bus 249
nb at 3247Mhz
ram at 1970Mhz

cpu v = 1.15
cpu/nb v = 1.325
dram v = 1.725

So the question is why is my cpu volt at 1.3 on auto? do i need to turn off any other settings in the biod like LLC or spread spectrum or anything like that not sure what all that stuff is.

i would like to run my computer at

cpu = 4.0
cpu/nb = 3250
ram = 2000

but i think think the h50 will cool enough and im ok with that as long as i can get the highest ram speed possible and NB. here are a couple pics

Does everything Look Good?

Uneed to up the cpu/nb volt more to get that nb speed. And for the cpu: set vcore manually and start upping the multiplier by .5. when failing stresstest up the vcore one or two notches

EDIT: Dont up the cpu multi before u have the nb stable

max volt for cpu/nb I would say is 1.45 without any better cooling. I need 1.45 for 3.4ghz nb and my cpu is -55c.
