As long as you didn't accidentally stick your finger in it or anything you should be good.

Have you done the basics like reseting your CMOS battery and/or jumper(s)? Also did you plug you pump or fan into the cpu_fan 3 pin socket?

i saw a video on youtube saying to plug the pump into a chassis fan header, and the fan into the 3 pin slot. i switched that config around and i think onetime i may have possibly not had anything in the cpu fan.

how do you reset cmos battery and/or jumpers?

i could see why not having anything plugged to cpu fan would cause this, and poorly installed graphics called cause the loss of picture, but it should have gone away if it was either of those things...

have you looked at the pins on the processor and re seated make sure theres no tissue or dirt on them and give the socket a blow,

Also to check for shorts take the mobo out of the case and "bench it " but it onto op your antistatic bag or a yello pages or something like that.

useually the Reset cosmos jumper is in the bottom Right of the boardyou should see somehting like C_MOS Or you could just take the "watch battery" out to reset

Edit:- If you see the jumper take the jumper off for 5 Sec's or so and replace on the same pins

usually you have to short the 2 pins together. This is normally done with tiny black plastic bricks that have a strip of metal in them. These are the jumpers. The pins on the board are what get jumped. There hasn't been any replies prolly because this is basic knowledge.
