When i'm back tomorrow morning i'll do some other benchies. @Kasp1js Yes, i'll do some OC benchies

For some context with regards to my Crysis score, when i briefly had a 5970+5870 in tri-fire i did the same settings and got 62 FPS as opposed to the 6970 CF's 68 FPS.

How does the crossfire bridge work with people having one PCI-E slot between the cards? I've only seen SLI bridge and its pretty short, and is there any longer SLI bridges? I'd like to know sense I'll probably be grapping my HD 6950's on Monday!

The provided crossfire bridge fits perfectly with a free slot between my 6970's. Mine are PowerColors but AFAIK all 6970's should have the same bridge provided.

The bridge that came with the cards werent long enough for me. I had to use the one that came with the motherboard.

Congrats, and I'll look forward to it man.

Like I clarified earlier (and from my sig) I actually have 1920x1200. As you can also see, this setup struggles to run Metro maxed out, and Crysis runs what I would call perfectly with these settings. I also find this setup is a bare minimum for running Just Cause 2 and Stalker CoP totally maxed out at my resolution without ever experiencing lag.

Bottom-line, as a grown man with a good career, I can afford a setup that maxes out everything, so that's what I have.

Exactly.

...And here is my Heaven score, a tad lower that i thought it should be perhaps..

Ask for more if needed. I own JC2, BlackOps, GTA4, AvP, Metro, Stalker CoP, Bad Company 2.
Awesome, man, thanks +1

Crysis looks real good, about a +13% gain from my rig. As I said upthread, although the benchmark result shows my min at 30fps, it's happening during a small stutter during 'flydown' part at the very beginning. 45fps is right around what my 'true' MIN is on that test.

I'll post a JC2 run, and a Stalker CoP here in a few minutes, hopefully you can match settings and see on those two as well. A matching Metro run would also be cool to see

Yeah, just to clarify, the standard xfire bridges that come w/ATI cards are able to span 3 slots total.

Here's a Stalker CoP run I did a couple weeks back. Everything is 100% totally maxed out on this run (note the advanced settings are set manually, 'Ultra' preset alone does not set all the toughest settings).

@Brett - SLI 470 is already beastly but your OC's really churn out some great numbers.

When i'm back at home tomorrow i'll do the same benchies as you and post them. I'll also see how about doing some OC ones.

Here is what i get with 1 x HD 6970 @ 950/1450. After some voltage control it will beat the GTX470s for sure. Keep in mind the min is low because my CPU was a stock because of a power outage so i will do a re-run soon.
