I just tried it and it doesnt fit in that hole :| fck I will have to get the reversal tip and get it it done because its going to suck if this block goes to waste because of one screw

worse case and last you could get a smaller drill bit then the screw and try it in reverse would be last thing id try tho.

Don't do this. Using a normal bit in reverse will drag that bit all over your pretty waterblock.

Go to home depot, bring the block and I'm sure some old guy in the tools dept will show you his collection of screw extractors.

After you get it out, go back and see the same old guy at home depot. Also at this point the idea is to get the screw out w/o destroying the block, not to get the screw so you can re-use it. Priority is the block right?

depends on how damaged it gets, how deep the cuts go.. As far as an AMD back plate, I used one from my old H50. Worked perfect. Other users have chopped the raised areas off the holes so they're flat with the plate. With the xspc kit, they just recommend washers, but I personally didnt feel safe with just washers on my mobo so I used one of the backplates.
