how is it possible?

Thread Starter
hello guys.
ive got a lg 32lc53 tv and im using it right now via hdmi cable to my hd6950 video card.
i know that the res. of the tv is 1366x768 something like that...
but when im going to the res. settings i can choose up to 1920x1080!
in games also i can play in full hd!
but i think that the image quality in full hd from this tv is not that great( its hard to tell if i write "lc" or "k"...)
how can it be?!?!?!?

using the hdmi cable your screen will show 1080i
or downconvert to 1366x768
for best pic use 1366x768

edit: 1080 may be a bit fuzzy since it is not the panels native resolution
i think this is done for compatibility with set top boxes

use the native resolution, anything else will be interpolated and look worse, and in the case of "1920x1080" on a 1366x768 monitor it will be more taxing as well and thus perform worse for games
