Should I add another 4870x2 or get a new card? - Page 2

Ok guys I didn't try to lower the video settings but I didn't have AA or AS filtering enabled. Though I had high resolution 1962x1200. But even the resolution to be lowered I don't think that I will see much of a difference...

hes got a low clocked dual core thats why his framerate is in the crapper if he gets atleast 3GHz quad he will get 45 or more the 4870x2 can max crysis with 39 fps so don't tell him 2 worlds needs more power than crysis

You need more cpu OP. A 4870x2 is comparable to a 6970, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Check my sig rig.

But with a C2Q or any Quad processor for that matter would ensure that your 4870X2 isn't bottlenecking your system which would also boost your performance up as well. Like the other's have stated I think it would be best to look into a new Processor then Video card if your performance is still dissatisfying, a new card for instance like the 570/6950/70 will bottleneck on your CPU probably performing around the same as your current setup.
