Need help picking out water cooling!

Thread Starter
i have an antec 900 pc case with 6 open bays available ( 2 fans ) and 2 water cooling tube holes in the back. i am looking for an all in one kit ( like the H50 ) but with clear tubes. if i need a separate res and pump it has to be out the back.
this:

http://www.frozencpu.com/products/11...=g30c321#blank

is an example of what i would like but without being so pricey. my socket is 1366. thanks.

There ya go. ALOT of people on this forum like this kit. It should have all you need, except maybe the radbox you will need to mount it to the back of the case.

Get that, but the water block doesnt support 1366 socket. so also get this
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835108111

That would give you a basic water loop that you can expand on. i would use this and when you can upgrade the radiator to something larger or even add a second radiator in. the water block ive linked you to is fairly good and wouldnt need replacing.

Oh yeah, forgot that it had the silver brackets for mounting the rad on the back of the case. Kinda fugly looking, but it does include it.

Ew. That would cost him 150 bucks, and all he would have is a 120mm single rad. The rasa kit would be 150 bucks with a 120mm triple rad, and known performance. I would not try to cool any modern CPU with a single 120 rad. May as well suggest a h50/h70 if you going to go the route you suggested.

Yes, it will mount to the back of your computer utilizing the rear120mm fan's attachment holes. And, as long as your case has the holes seen in the link here, you will not have to mod the case at all. The tubing will enter and exit via the holes.

Here is a 900 with a radiator externally mounted -

He has a 360 rad mounted; why not go for the 360 kit yourself? It's like 40 more bucks but gives you the ability to expand in the future. And, what ever you are cooling now will be cooled better.

Also, that seems like alot of money to spend on coolant when you could just get distilled water from the drug store and 1 killcoil from forzencpu.com for about $10 total.
