New 760... Burrning up after seconds of prime - Page 2

Thread Starter
Anyone's opinion welcome: I read some benchmarks saying the thermaltake frio was good, anyone else support that?

And I exaggerated, there's about $65 in my amazon account.

If I make ~$10... I can buy the noctua nh-d14.
Questions:
Holy crap will that snap my motherboard in half?
Will that block the only 2 RAM slots I have?

um does this forum die when threads get to the second page?

There is a list on the Noctua site of RAM that will fit under it. Plus the fan on that side can slide up.

Under 65 you have tons of options for AIR. Some don't come with fans so be sure to check that.

Didn't have a ton of money after all the other stuff. H55M-e23 or maybe 23e, idk I'm at an airport on my phone right now.

It was really weird too because I can use MSI control center to OC, overvolt, and adjust everything. But I can't reduce the voltage.

There isn't much documentation on any parts of it, if you want I can take pictures of different parts of the BIOS or something if that helps. I know you can unlock some motherboards, and I tried the combination of keys that worked on my old motherboard and it brought up some information menu that was useless.

I don't get temperatures like that when I do prime95. Did you push the cornes of the stock fan down before you twisted them?

So. The noctua nh-d14. My motherboard isn't on the compatibility list for 1156 MSI boards. So that's out of the question. Regardless of price what's the next best AIR 1156 cooler?

Also, my plane is gonna board soon so I gotta go, I'll be back in the states in a few hours.
