Yes Giant two rotor black (all black) copters and Somewhat smaller but still huge black single rotor copters don't just pass over my house...they frigging buzz it. The windows shake. I guess we got lucky like that...things you don't know until you move in...

I thought I had the cam higher. But I was not going to rebox and unbox the damn case...so there you have it...what a pro.

I gotta hope this job goes smoothly. I always start off thinking it's a great idea...and then when the client starts flopping back and forth and sending me a hundred messages in the course of a few days I remember why I said screw it and stopped altogether for a while. Of course no one could possible piss me off as much as Ronin did...but who knows...there might be another winner out there.

Sorry CD I don't mean to come off as rude or anything but I'm just a little confused.

So you're going to be here on OCN still, just very rarely?

I can understand your annoyances with some customers, I used to be a cook and the service industry can be brutal on your patience.

I used to spend a LOT of time here. I used to have a LOT of fun and friendly exchanges. For whatever reason all of that has changed. I found myself reporting more posts than posting posts...lol. And I also feel that I am something of an easy target...I seem to draw trouble...like a retired gunfighter in a B Western...always having to put the belt back on one more time...which is a complete waste of my time, and undermines and undercuts all the work I have done to bring fresh content and new members to this forum. I'll leave the battles to others, I don't have the time or inclination for it.

I feel that rather than annoy and be annoyed I and the Forum are best served if I limit my interactions.

It was great...but things have changed. I can't afford to provide any more free entertainment. As a hobby, PC modding is great. As a business you need a completely different kind of exposure and client than you are likely to find on a Forum. Do you see anyone making a business out of this on any forum anywhere on the internet? It was truly a mad dream...and I need to wake up.

Thanks again to all my many clients for their interesting projects.

... we could always do the "Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid" thing...

Seriously, though, I feel the echos of what you say. On the onset some may see this as bitterness, I see it as pragmatism... often times it is difficult to distinguish one from the other.

P.S.

You have any tech-station-like cases lying around that you would consider parting with?

I need an open -air platform for my system overhaul.

I can't agree with you more on a few points here CD.

Also, what about Bill Owen But yeah I get what you mean. Best of luck, your work was always an unattainable goal for me.

I have nothin' but love for CyberDruid! I've learned so much from him over the years. It's a shame that people can be so selfish and treat CD wrong. I hope this is a good experience for everyone involved and we see more of CD on the forums.

Very bittersweet. I'm grateful to have been a part and regretful of how everything transpired those months ago.

Well, nobody, least of all me, thought that they'd seen the last of the Druid. Here's hoping 2011's clients aren't as worrisome.
