G skill eco 1333 voltage question.

This ram is going very cheap at the moment and I´m thinking about picking up 2 sets. My question is, should most boards be able to boot at 1.35 v ?
This is the board that they will be running in.

You may need slightly more (i.e. 1.5V) but it should work. Which particular ECO kit did you get?

I was hoping you´d spot this thread, ram addict.

I havn´t bought them yet.
http://www.pccomponentes.com/g_skill...2x2gb_cl9.html

I was reading that they can be pushed to 1500 , 1600 speeds with low cl´s.
They are 10 euro a set cheaper than similar 1.5 v 1600´s cl9 normal G.skill´s.
I have no problems running them at 1.5v , I just read that some boards don´t like 1.35v.
The other choice I was looking at is these ripjaws (similar price)
http://www.pccomponentes.com/g_skill...2x2gb_cl7.html

But I don´t know if they will fit under this Shuriken.

You'd be better off with the cheapest 1333 9-9-9 kit possible, any kit should be able to do 1333 9-9-9 with 1.5V or less, no problems, and at the pricing you should just go with the cheapest possible since if you really want to spend on memory you should spend on something better. The ECO's that are the famous and more well known are the 1600 7-8-7s; in fact I run those right now (though I'm replacing them soon). I don't know if the Shuriken will affect RAM slots beside it, it probably will below it though.

EDIT: You can try the G.Skill NQ 1600 9-9-9. 1600 9-9-9 is more or less equal to 1333 7-7-7 in AMD benchmarks. Slightly lower price, better settings, low-profile heatsinks; all in all a better choice, and they actually have some fair overclockability as well.

Hopefully last question.

If you were to choose out of the cl 7,8,7, 24 1.5v 1333 ripjaws
http://www.pccomponentes.com/g_skill...2x2gb_cl7.html

or

The 9.9.9.24 1600 1.5v Ripjaws

Go with the 1600 9-9-9s, 1600 9-9-9 provides equal or slightly better performance than 1333 7-7-7; additionally, I have seen reviews showing both kits overclocking well, but the 1600 9-9-9 kit overclocking somewhat further. You will have more headroom on those, 1600 7-8-7 with some extra volts has been done on those by OCN members.

The NQ 1600 9-9-9s (with the low profile heatsinks) should have good results too, a friend of mine could boot to OS at 7-9-7 on those with stock voltage (though wasn't able to fully test stability).

You too, good luck with that memory and a happy new year to you!
I'm also assuming this is for a low profile HTPC build?
