RAID 0 quick question

Thread Starter
I have 2 SATA hard drives. One 500gb and another 1TB drive i would like to RAID 0 'em.
I know i will get a total of 1TB if i do this (500gb + 500gb)
Question is... can i still make a single partition with the remaining 500gb out of the bigger drive or will i just lose it?
I will be installing Windows 7 here.

Thanks a lot

You'll lose it. It's a much better idea to RAID0 two identical drives anyway.
