budget upgrade, rebooting and getting Hyper transport sync error

it happens on stocks settings and even while UNDER clocked...

It is an AMD Athlon x2 250 (3.0GHz), MSI 785GM-P45 and 2 x 1GB DDR3 1333 Crucial ram

check the cpu for bent pins, reseat the ram, or try one dimm at a time

Run memtest86+; you may have defective memory or memory slots. If you get errors, begin testing with 1 DIMM in certain slots to find out either which memory stick or slot is the issue. Aside from that, make sure the memory is set to rated speed/timings/voltage.

I had this problem and its voltage related. Up the V on the CPU, check you 4/8 pin mobo power cable.

Helped me atleast.
