Feser Tube vs Tygon Tube

post #1 of 12
Thread Starter
is their a big difference between them ?

the feser look way better but if the tygon will be more secured for leeks or anything like that I will get them.

tygon:
http://www.jab-tech.com/home.php?cat...rt_direction=1

feser(the only option from feser):
http://www.jab-tech.com/Feser-Tube-A...n-pr-4287.html

tygon options(4 options from tygon):
http://www.jab-tech.com/Tygon-Silver...8-pr-4104.html
http://www.jab-tech.com/Tygon-R-3400...8-pr-3959.html
http://www.jab-tech.com/Tygon-R-3603...g-pr-3874.html
http://www.jab-tech.com/TYGON-B-44-4...8-pr-4221.html

what is the best out of this(???):

the black one is Resistant tube ?
the Silver one is Antimicrobial ?
the Tygon R-3603 is Chemical tube ?
and the TYGON® B-44-4X dunno about that

from tygon that my 4 options vs the feser tube...

i disagree.. tygon tubing looks really classy and is high quality, the feser looks like some cheap home depot tubing

primoflex is also great tubing, amazon sells 10ft packs for $16.25 shipped
post #3 of 12
I've used all different types, Tygon, masterkleer, Feser, XSPC.

They all work just fine.

For UV colored tubing, I liked my Feser tubing best. I have some in my loops now that have run for two years plus and still look good.

Buy what looks good to you and fits the budget.

Only thing to watch for is getting the exact size if using compression fittings.

Just avoid the home depot pvc type tubing...way to hard to work with and bend.

I've only tried Feser Tubing, and I'm liking it so far. Highly flexible and easy to work with.

Also, you can fill in your system specifications properly here (so it looks like my sig)

IMO tygon as its stretchier (is that a word?!) and more flexible so no need for ugly clips etc. and its high grade so over time not as much evaporation through the pipe. and errr yeah.

As long as you keep it out of direct sunlight and only run distilled, either one should last just fine and the same.

About the only difference would be some of the flexibility, some are slightly more flexible, but most of that depends on wall thickness.

http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=157370

Ever since going to distilled water plus UV tubing, I haven't had any desire/need to replace my tubing. When I was using dyes/coolant mixes...I was on the 3 month replacement plan.

Use UV tube and distilled and the tubing will probably last longer than your hardware.. Mine did.
