Yikes, the competitive spirit! Well a couple of the guys got the right idea of this Monster of a contest, hehe! That means that they'll pull out all the tricks in the book to make sure their projects are the good enough to get the most votes. I bet some awesome things are going to happen 'cuz competition does that-well it is a gut feeling.

Last year I got whooped by a fellow modder from Mexico really bad, but you know, I really felt good for and proud of him! Must have been the Syrillian Zen move on me, jeje (hi Dan!).

Hey Argos, glad to see you here! Thinking about entering the contest or just checking out the scene? In my personal opinion, you should enter if you have a new project planned, and you want to prove to yourself something in the biggest arena of the world, OCN.

I've been thinking of an "eco" mod for here but it has to be perfectly executed, such are the demands here, so I am still checkin out several material options so that it will fit and yet be competitive. We have till the end of the month to think it over, no too long though.

Hope to see you enter one of your dazzling mods here.

I'm going to use banana peels, wood, plush toys, carbon fiber, origami, and mirrors to make a case from scratch.
Well maybe not the banana peels... or the plush toys... or any of that other stuff... but one of them for sure!

What kind are you planning on using? I like MIG (not the same as flux-core wire-feed), but have also done stick welding.

I don't think anyone has done a full CF case for the competition, but I would love to see one; particularly if it's properly vacuum bagged (autoclaved as well would be off the hook).
