As for something that's over $200 ($260) it better beat Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 hands down.

LoL, Z-5500? You can't be serious, that bass fart system? Sound coming from a cardboard box would sound better than the Z-5500s.

Anyway, these could be good compared to other computer speakers, but at that price point there's a lot of competition as far as entry level hi fi goes.

And for the love of god the Z5500 are not a good system even as far as computer speakers go.
Anything "Gaming" is just a marketing gimmick. Slapping the word "gaming" on to a product is "supposed" to make it hardcore, and ironically, in many cases, it's not.

Seriously, my Altec Lansing 5100 that I've used for over 5+ years are better than Logicraps Z-5500. All I hear from the Z-5500 is nothing but low-mid to low end sound, it's like a drunk fat lady walking down a hallway, all over the place and no one dares get near.
Shhhhh!

Interesting, bi-amped, 4th order bandpass, Class D amplifier. This looks promising. Their R&D department better not screw up on this. The $260 price tag might be pushing it...

Lolling at all the people in this thread saying theyd rather buy logitechs. Especially when logitech sounds lile crap to begin with. Noone even knows what these sound like yet so how can you say that.

I think i'll be sticking with what I got anyways lol.
Bashing these things without actually hearing them or reading any reviews is childish honestly.

If the speakers can compete with A2's and the sub doesn't distort when pushed a little, I'd say the price is just right.

Don't hate just because you can't tell the difference in audio quality or can't afford better gear.

What's with all the Logitech bashing? Sure their subwoofer crossover is set extremely high (it may even be over 200Hz, I don't know for sure) but then, which PC oriented speakers don't do the same to mask their tiny satellites? I actually own the Z-5500s and think they sound good enough.

This is coming from someone who uses the optical out in my Mac into a 2 channel receiver to power a pair of Polk RTi A7s and a PSW505 just for MP3s. If you want to be snobby, I could come out and say that my setup destroys any PC speaker system but the truth is, the Z-5500s are fine for most of the music young people listen to and that's exactly the target demographic for systems like these (and the Corsairs).
