[HWC] Corsair Launching Gaming Audio Series SP2500 2.1 PC Speaker System - Page 10

Those Paradigm's are bookshelf speakers. Another good contender would be B&W 805.

Really depends where your desk is in your room. My desk is facing 10ft away from the wall with a 47" mounted on the wall and my S2's and center are to the side and underneath respectively, my surrounds sit right behind me.

*edit* Looking at Paradigms website it seems they came out with a new 2.0 and 5.0 system package (sub sold separately), the MilleniaOne 5.0 System.

The sub is thin and can be tucked away underneath sofas or other obscure places.

Much better quality of sound
Much cheaper (if you already own a half descent Hifi)
1) Not everyone has home audio equipment available.

2) Not everyone can afford big apartment space. Most people live in a small room making it unnecessary for big sound and if they can afford big sound in a apartment they run the chance of disturbing neighbors.

I find it curious to why they state the Z2300 has been the set to beat, and why they claim some setups have a flat frequency response when their own graphs state otherwise.

Stop bashing Logitech!

Their Z-2300s and X-540/530 series are great speakers for the price they can be had.

Anyways, lots of bashing on these speakers..Are there even specs for this yet? A demo video? They do look pricey, twice as much as z-2300s.

EDIT: just read the above two post, thanks for the info!

Spend less on the sound card so you can afford some bookshelf speakers instead.

That would explain why the sub enclosure is fairly big. I'm personally not a fan of band pass either :/
Even ported I don't really like. Sealed = best SQ imo.
