actually adding to the topic though, I bought it a few days ago at 7 bucks and I agree that its pretty hard. Its the hardest game I've picked up to play in the last few years by far. I'm better than most at pretty much any game that I play and I pick games up pretty easily, however BFBC2 is kicking my butt. I'm struggling to achieve a 1:1 KD.

I think the problem most people have with the game is the fact that its not like other shooter and requires you to play in squads and to actually think about what your next move is going to be. Theres definitely a stealth quality that has to be learned in order to successfully play this game. Because the gameplay is so different from most FPS games out there (L4D2/TF2/etc) its not necessarily nub friendly.
Also, the RPG elements of this game and leveling up to get better weapons/skills doesn't necessarily make the game nub friendly. One more thing is the massive recoil of the guns (must shoot burst fire) and the realistic reduction of damage and accuracy over distances (rifles vs sub machine guns for example).
These are probably only a few of the aspects of the game which I believe add to the quick exit of new players to BFBC2.

That all being said, I think the game is pretty fun. When you start actually working together and sticking in squads, the game rocks. Yes, I hate snipers just like everyone else, but you can't escape that in any game. Its part of pretty much any shooter type multiplayer I can think of.
Once you start leveling up and gaining experience, unlock new guns, and start learning the specifics of each map/gameplay mode the game should become exponentially more fun. Stick to the game BDBC2 nubs, I am.

put letters together to make words, words go together to make sentences. Left to right, top to bottom.

BFBC2 is a great game, and it can be hard, if you have a weak team, or your not paying any attention too whats going on.
Make sure your in a squad, it helps when you can spawn on any of your squad members, best thing to do would be join a clan if your not in one.

If your a Noob: stick to COD black ops, where you can drive a Toys R Us RC car bombs, play in your shoe box sized maps, and spawn camp while your drinking chocolate milk.

If your an intelligent, Mature person: Get BFBC 2 Vietnam, Pay attention to the game, spawn points, squad movement, team movement, and objectives. And stay out of high risk of getting killed areas IE: Open areas, middle of roads, driving ATV's, standing next to tanks. Learn to play as a team, and you'll be getting 1000+ points a round in no time.

thats the bottom line.
note, posted by a mature person.

I tried playing it with a friend the other day and we quit after playing for an hour or so. I really don't see what people like in the game, it is like a terrible version of BF2.
