capture card for my PS3

So I would like to start taking video of some of my gameplay. Does anyone know of a good capture card that still gives me that HD quality of an HDMI output?

Any suggestions or ideas would be helpful!

If you have USB 3.0 get that. The only way you can get 1080p though is with a 360.

If not, the Hauppage HD PVR is your best bet which uses USB 2.0

I have the Blackmagic Intensity Shuttle, and I love it, I have only used it with the Xbox 360. The highest it can go is 1080p 30fps. So consoles cannot be recorded in 1080p 60fps right now because of protection issues with HDMI and because the Shuttle only goes to 1080p at 30fps and (at least for the 360) consoles output at 1080p 60fps. Although the Shuttle might be able to record at 1080p 60fps later.

The video still looks awesome though, I record my 360 at 720p 59.74fps.

Only downside is that you need USB 3.0 and an X58 motherboard, but if you have one then it's a great buy.
