Enough rad? - Page 2

You can use the dual 120s in a dual rad setup for the 1055 and get a new 240 for the 6950. A 240 should also be enough even if you plan to crossfire those 6950s in the future.

Really :>.

I guess it would be pushing it if i did two 6950s and cool my mobo.

Lol if i do that ill just get another 120mm rad.

Hey guys i just thought about somthing. What if i cut holes in my table that my rads would fit into. My loop usually just hangs out of my case lol.

From what some people have said on several forums, cooling your mobo NB/SB is purely for the looks.

If you plan on getting a 240 now, and another 120 in the future like what you said, I would recommend you getting a 360 instead of that 240 and be done with it

If you already have 2x 120mm radiators adding another 240 will be more than plently for your loop. It will give you some pretty nice deltas while still being pretty quiet.

If you haven't bought the fans yet I would switch them as $3 yate loons out-perform those Magmas by a small amount (in terms of CFM/dbA ratio).

Well, yate loons aren't really that quiet. Your magmas are quieter than the yates but yates are really cheap and perform great.

They don't come painted in red, but they do have red leds.

Yate Loons are pretty quiet as long as you get the low speed (1350 RPM) ones. (Quieter than Magmas) Also, they can be very easily painted red. You simply peel back a sticker and pop a tiny pin out, and then the blades pop off the frame. Then you can paint the blades and frame however you want to.

As you can see the magmas produce more noise than any of the yate loon models.
