I was also running Prime while it was at those temps this is what it dropped to after I turned it off.
Core #046 °C (114 °F)45 °C (112 °F)96 °C (204 °F)
Core #143 °C (109 °F)40 °C (103 °F)93 °C (199 °F)
Core #234 °C (93 °F)33 °C (91 °F)79 °C (174 °F)
Core #337 °C (98 °F)36 °C (96 °F)77 °C (170 °F)

My timing is set to 8-8-8-20 also if that could be a factor

That ultra cooler should keep it much cooler.

What does CPU-Z tell you about the vCore?

What are you using for temps? The TjMax is 90C on the Q6600.

I get around high 60s to low 70s with mine.

So I decided to change my settings back to auto and everything went back to normal... Except for the temp for the TjMax still is saying that my temp is 100c

Could it be that my system is giver or take 5 years old?

Maybe I didn't put enough gel on the CPU?

Tjmax is there to stay. It's just a limit, and won't change.
But it doesn't do anything but tell you to stay away from that temp on your cores under it.
