I don't usually harp on people for punctuation but some periods would be nice. TIA

Welcome to OCN, you can add system specs so we know what you already have. http://www.overclock.net/specs.php?do=addsystem

Thank you for the welcome.

I will add specs if i can figure it out how to.

I will do my best to punctuate from now on, some times i do and other times i do not due to reasons i will not type. and no i do not have mental retardation like borat says in his accent.

amen brotha i have been wanting them to get up to hundreds of gbs so we can switch to voxel rendering and 8k displays like the ruby demon from 2008 voxel raytracing/ect.. less compute power needed but way better looking

[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0YjXCae4Gu0[/ame]

but uber ram comsuming i remember when i bought a voodoo 5 5500 when i was 12 y/o and a geforce 3 ti 500 64 mb right? or 128?
when i was almost 14 at the end of 2001.

lol then my friend told me that new gpus were coming out and i got *****y should have waited and upgraded to the geforce 4800 or w/e they were frown.gif .

then in 2007 i upgraded to my 8800 gtx (do not worry i did not play very many games and i stoped playing since 2004 to 2007 thank god)

and for me it has always been keep 2 computers because one might die and one always does. :/

Not only that, with the 4th card I will be able to pump up the graphics in very demanding games like A-10C even higher. Plus games like Guild Wars 2 and Battlefield 3 on the horizon, I am sure those will be quite demanding.

I won't be satisfied until I reach 60 FPS in everything at this resolution with at least 2x AA. biggrin.gif

Hi, I've been trying to get pass 4.2Ghz on my 990X with the Asus Rampage 3 Black Edition? How did you manage to pull it off at 5.5GHz? Don't know whether this concern, I using 24GB Corsair Dominator GT 2000Mhz RAM.

The Mars2 SLI (Quad SLI) is not that impressive for now. Still trying to get more juice out of it but I guess I will play around more with my 3 units of EVGA GeForce GTX 580 Hydro Copper2 SLI in another setup.

Question, did you use "only" master DVI connectivity for all your 3 monitors? Which monitor support did you have on those?

For 990X pretty easy BCLK 200 x 21 = 4.2 GHz @1.375v (depends on your cooling capacity).

You can bring that 24GB GT to its rated spec (BCLK 200 x Mem Multi 10) 2,000MHz 9-10-9-27-2T but will take tons of QPI/vtt to stabilize.

In my opinion the series design of the crossfire interconnects is flawed. The bridge from card one to two and then on down the line has to handle way too much bandwidth in Tri/Quad-Fire setups at this high of a resolution and just couldn't cope.

Totally not true. Probably PEBKAC. ''Dug up some research''... rolleyes.gif

I'm using 3X30'' Eyefinity with 4 AMD GPUs without any crash or problem.

So there is NO problem with Crossfire interconnects, and it is not flawed. Working fine here. smile.gif

But who cares now, Vega sold his system anyway.
